In the PC Repair category, HolTech Services provides:-

• On-Site PC Repairs
• Custom-built New Systems
• System Upgrades
• System Rebuilds(usually major changes)

By On-Site, we mean located at your Business, Office or Home. Normally, only Repairs and Upgrades would be done On-Site. New Systems and Rebuilds, would be done Off-Site in our Workshop, due to the time factor involved.

On-Site PC Repairs

On-Site repairs help you in a number of ways:-

• Not packing up and moving the PC means that we can see the System in it's normal operating environment, which could affect analysis of the problem. In some cases, the operating environment could even be the cause of the problem.
  
  
• We see the System in it's entirety. It will be attached to all the peripherals it normally would be attached to, when running correctly.
  
  
• If your Business can run without the PC, even temporarily, On-Site repairs mean that your Business can continue to run, while we diagnose the problem. You don't have to "shut up shop" or waste valuable employee's time whilst the PC is taken to a Service Center.
  
  
• All necessary drivers and software CD's will be right there and on hand, should they be required.

Custom-built New Systems

We also provide New Systems. We perform these services both On- and Off-Site, although for efficiency and convenience reasons, New System builds are best carried out Off-Site, once your exact specifications have been determined. This specification consultation process will normally be done On-Site, but can also be done over the Phone or by Email. We recommend On-Site, so we can analyse the normal operating environment and fully determine all requirements. For example, a very hot working environment may require extra cooling requirements, that we may have been unaware of prior to delivery. We may be able to make suggestions or modifications for dirty operating environments that may extend the life of the System or reduce down time due to repairs and/or maintenance.

System Upgrades

Upgrades are usually just 1 or 2 components, maybe a new Motherboard and powerful new CPU. Or maybe just a new Graphics (Video) card, to speed up the CAD rendering process or to play the latest game.

System Rebuilds

Rebuilds are usually major changes, Upgrades that are more than just 1 or 2 components. These may include new cases or maybe changes of such scope that practically a new system is being built, with a few components used from the previous system. These services would also usually be performed Off-Site, for efficiency and convenience reasons, again once your exact specifications have been determined. The specification consultation process would be similar to that mentioned in Custom-built New Systems.
